This book presents, in a very brief form, the tools and techniques that must be mastered by an internal or external consultant assigned to manage an improvement project within an organization. It provides a short overview of each of these important tools but due to the large number of tools and techniques and the size limitation of the little big books many of them are not discussed in detail. In these cases references are provided where the reader can acquire the detailed knowledge required to use these tools effectively.
