The U.S. Census Bureau ( ) estimated the U.S. population asof November 2013 at 317,143,580. There is in the United States, on average, one birth every 8 seconds, one death every 12 seconds, one international migrant (net) every 44 seconds, and a net population gain of one person every 14 seconds.
