Coal fly ash (CFA) is one of the most complex anthropogenic materials. It is estimated that only about 20 to 30% of the globally generated fly ash is employed and utilized in building materials mainly as an additive in cement, concrete, and structural filling as well as in small scale production of zeolite. This book provides new research on the characteristics, uses and performance of fly ash.
